Dr Shereen Rahman

BSc, MBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH, DGM, Diploma in Clinical Dermatology.

Dr Shereen Rahman qualified as a doctor in 1995, and completed her GP training in 2000. Her base in general practice and significant skills in the area means that she takes a holistic approach to patients, and promotes the importance of continuity of care. Dr Rahman joined the Old Church Surgery in 2016 as a GP Partner.

Dr Rahman qualified as a level 3 accredited GPSI Dermatology in 2003. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology. She is a member of the local MDT at Whipps Cross Hospital. Dr Rahman is the clinical lead for the Community Dermatology Specialist Services in Waltham Forest, which sees a total of 6000 patients a year.

Dr Rahman is also the Medical Director of ESS Clinics Limited which provides private minor surgery clinics in South Woodford. In addition, ESS Clinic provides a high quality aesthetic services from its purpose built premises in George Lane, South Woodford. Dr Evan James

MBBCh, MRCGP, DRCOG, Post Graduate Diploma Diabetes and Endocrinology. PGdip (Dermatology)

Dr Evan James qualified as a doctor in 1996 and completed his GP training in 2001. He has been a local GP in Waltham Forest since 2001, and is currently GP Principal at The Old Church Surgery in Chingford.

Aside from his expertise in general practice, Dr James also has a significant clinical interest in diabetes care, and has worked in the Waltham Forest Diabetes service for many years. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes and Endocrinology from Middlesex University.

Sue Crabbe

Sue Crabbe has been involved in practice, health centre and business management in the NHS for 30 years.

She successfully managed a number of large inner-city practices in ethnically diverse boroughs for 20 years. Her dedicated and innovative work with the practices led her to win Waltham Forest NHS Practice Manager of the Year in 2004 and 2005.

Sue has also worked as a Health Centre Manager for 20 years. Her organisational and people skills lent themselves to such a position, where teamwork and co-ordination of a variety of health services were key. She was also instrumental in the establishment of a variety of policies and procedures within this health centre environment.

Sue also works as Practice/Business Manager at the Old Church Surgery in Waltham Forest.
